SteelsetPerformance

One app for strength training.

Gyms run their programs, classes, and memberships on it. Athletes without a gym get a 4-week plan written by AI that changes as they train.

A day at a gym on Steelset

Everyone at the gym uses the same app, each for their own part of the day.

  1. The athlete

Today's workout is on the phone.

Sets and weights are logged between lifts, even with no signal in the basement. "Show me" plays a demo video of any exercise.

The Today screen at a gym: week 4, day 1 of the program, four exercises with their sets and reps, a Continue workout button, and the next two classes booked.
A workout in progress: back squat, three sets of three, with the weight and reps typed in for each set.
  2. The athlete

    Thursday's class is booked.

Classes open a week ahead. A full class has a waitlist, and the athlete is booked automatically when a place opens.

The Book screen: this week's days across the top, and the day's classes with how many places are taken.
  3. The trainer

Programs written once, followed all week.

Trainers build programs from an exercise library with demo videos, or start from the gym's templates. Alerts flag the athletes who are missing workouts or falling short.

A trainer's view of a program on the web: day 1's four exercises with their tempo and their sets and reps for weeks 1 to 4.
  4. The gym owner

    The gym at a glance.

Members pay by card straight into the gym's own Stripe account. Today's classes, the week's bookings, late cancels, and monthly income are on one page.

A strength class on the gym floor: athletes squatting and pressing at their own racks while a coach walks between them.
The gym's Overview on the web: bookings and check-ins this week, memberships in good standing, monthly income, and today's three classes.
  5. The athlete

A month of training, all in one place.

Every finished workout is kept in History, with each set as it was lifted.

The History screen: a month calendar with finished workouts marked, and the list of workouts below.

Training on your own?

Answer a few questions about your goal, your equipment, how often you can train, and any injuries. Steelset writes you a 4-week plan.

  • Each week is adjusted from what you logged, with a one-line reason for every change.
  • Your next plan builds on every plan you've finished.
  • See everything stored about you, download a copy, or delete your account, from the app.

The iPhone app is coming to the App Store.
